The Scout Group had over the years done extensive fundraising towards their relocation to a new site and construction of a purpose built Community Hall, parking and woodland area. The Scout Group was gifted the original hall in 1912 which was previously a working men’s club.

wctd limited was engaged to review all the funding approaches, identify new sources of funding and help with making grant applications to funders both new and those who had previously rejected the scheme.

A Community Engagement Plan was produced and funding sourced for the project shortfall to enable the project to go ahead.

The total project cost was approximately £700,000
